Twenty representatives – clinicians and managers – of 9 hospitals took part in the first meeting. By the close of the meeting, there was agreement to meet again and a date was set a month later to allow time to consult with colleagues and for a draft paper about the purpose and terms of collaboration to be prepared. The flipchart shown lists the issues identified at the meeting.
