The Paediatric Advanced Practice Network (PAPn) is a newly established network looking to expand its membership and engagement across the UK.

The recently established Paediatric Advanced Practice Network are looking for Paediatric Advanced Practitioners (AP) and APs working with children and young people that would like to join a paediatric focused network supported by Partners in Paediatrics.

The network has been created by Sarah Meenan, Paediatric ACP, The Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust and NHSE supervision and assessment lead; Ambra Righetti, Paediatric ACP, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

The network aims to:

  • develop a platform for networking and raising the profile of paediatric advanced practice within the UK
  • provide learning opportunities and resources and sharing of best practice and research
  • work together to support service development, education and research

The group also looks to:

  • provide advice and guidance for professionals regionally and nationally
  • Provide peer support for paediatric ACPs
  • Educational conference to share knowledge and expertise to the regional and national colleagues
  • Inform professional opinion at an intra-regional and national level

    October 2023 The network aims to hold a face-to-face study day in March 2024 and would like to make a call to anyone that may wish to submit an abstract.


    Sept 2023 We are looking for Advanced practitioners to share information, knowledge and innovative practice with the wider Paediatric Advanced Practice community at future PAPn meetings.  If you would like to nominate yourself, please do so via the  Expression of Interest / Speaker nomination form
