The Paediatric Advanced Practice Network (PAPn) is a newly established network looking to expand its membership and engagement across the UK.

The recently established Paediatric Advanced Practice Network are looking for Paediatric Advanced Practitioners (AP) and APs working with children and young people that would like to join a paediatric focused network supported by Partners in Paediatrics.

The network has been created by Sarah Meenan, Paediatric ACP, The Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust and NHSE supervision and assessment lead; Ambra Righetti, Paediatric ACP, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

The network aims to:

  • develop a platform for networking and raising the profile of paediatric advanced practice within the UK
  • provide learning opportunities and resources and sharing of best practice and research
  • work together to support service development, education and research

The group also looks to:

  • provide advice and guidance for professionals regionally and nationally
  • Provide peer support for paediatric ACPs
  • Educational conference to share knowledge and expertise to the regional and national colleagues
  • Inform professional opinion at an intra-regional and national level
